Collings and artist husband, Geoffrey, collaborated extensively in painting, illustration and costume design ventures. Collings designed fabrics for the SS Oronsay.

Career Highlights


C1926 to c1932 studied at East Sydney Technical College under Rayner Hoff. In 1935 she travelled to London where she and Geoffrey Collings were influenced by the modernist art movement. In the 1930s and 1940s Collings designed distinctive magazine covers for publisher Sydney Ure Smith's publications The Home and Australia.
