Fashion Designer and Accessories Designer

Tully moved from Melbourne to live in New Guinea and subsequently travelled internationally. He returned to Australia and studied jewellery design in Melbourne and Sydney. Although trained in the use of precious metals, Tully abandoned them for the colour and malleability of plastics.

Tully exhibited his work in Sydney, and in 1975 began making jewellery for textile and fashion designer Linda Jackson. In 1980 Tully's exhibition of Urban Tribalwear in New York saw his emergence as designer of wearable art as well as jewellery.
